hello, audio lover fellows,
these couple of paragraphs are about the small sound set named basses sub basses for applied acoustics systems lounge lizard v3.x.x, password for opening the archive is: audiolovers
please note, even if importing these sounds into v4.x.x, the program, because of the changes in its physical modelling engine, will not be able to sound as intended, so please stick with v3.x.x, my mileage tells it is worth it.
the sounds are numbered through the increasing perception quotient of rhodesness, without any linearity therein, just for the possibility of distinguishing between them, sorry for being unable to find another better expression, explanation, for their differences.
lounge lizard v3.x.x, because of its physical modelling simplifications, for such sounds, does not really like any same note pressed again then again, thus if there is the need for such notes in series, use two tracks, dividing the repeated notes between them.
the presets also seem to do sound better without legato playing mode, through the utilisation of tiny wee empty spaces between notes you are done.
for differently sounding notes it also seems better to use more tracks, automating the levels, even better the mute state, between them giving satisfying results.
with the usage of level automation, one might rather check the phase relation between the used notes, parts, tracks, there does not exist oscillator phase reset function in the program.
wish you the most beautifully growling basses for your creations, plus all the best that there exists...
